Oakmont Councilwoman Kitty Vagley Resigns

The Oakmont Borough Council is looking to fill Council Member Kitty Vagley's seat following her recent resignation.

Oakmont Council is down one member, and officials are accepting applications.

Council President Timothy Milberger announced during the regular council meeting Monday evening that resumes are being accepted for the council seat of Kitty Vagley, who recently submitted her resignation after serving since January 2010.

According to Milberger, Vagley’s resignation is effective Sept. 11, but her term does not expire until Dec. 31, 2013.

Interested applicants must be an Oakmont Borough resident for at least one year. Resumes will be accepted through Aug. 24. 

Applicants should mail their resume to Borough Manager Lisa Jensen, 767 Fifth St., Oakmont , Pa. 15139 or resumes can be dropped off at the during regular office hours—Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
