Oakmont Boulevard Project

beautiful walking trail, pavilion, clock tower

The Oakmont Boulevard Project is the initiative which maintains and improves the area between Allegheny River Boulevard and Allegheny Avenue, including the arboretum walking trail, pavilion, clock tower, both entrances into town, and the section of Hulton Road between the bridge and Allegheny River Boulevard.  The project also helps ensure safety by maintaining thoroughfares between the Boulevards and across the railroad tracks.

The OBP annual fund drive is now underway.  If you would like to contribute, send a check payable to Oakmont Boulevard Project, 767 Fifth Street, Oakmont PA 15139.

Oakmont has long been a neighborhood of choice  because of its sense of community, charming tree-lined streets, and beautifully maintained outdoor public spaces.  Recreational public spaces such as those in Oakmont enhance quality of life and have a positive impact on the physical, mental, and social well-being of individuals and neighborhoods.  Outdoor public spaces lead to safer, cleaner neighborhoods and a livelier community atmosphere, not to mention increased home values.  This is why the Oakmont Boulevard Project is so important, and why you should consider making a contribution.
