Oakmont Chamber to Host 'Women in Politics' Lunch

Dana Brown, executive director of the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics at Chatham University, will join members for a discussion on April 4.

The will be held at the in Oakmont at noon. The center is located at the corner of Allegheny and Delaware avenues. The cost to attend is $15.

Brown will discuss the status of women in politics both at the state and federal level. She will also review the roots of low representation of women in governments and what we can do to make a difference. The Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics at Chatham University is a non-partisan organization that is focused on educating and empowering women for public leadership.
