Oakmont Police Reports: July 27 to Aug. 2

The following incidents were reported to the Oakmont Police Department. Information was obtained from police reports and call logs:

Retail theft

A retail theft was reported on July 29 at the Rite Aid on Allegheny River Boulevard.

Criminal mischief

A Pennsylvania Avenue resident reported criminal mischief to a vehicle on July 30. Sand had been dumped into the car's gas tank.

Theft

Two Sixth Street residents reported thefts from vehicles on Aug. 1.

Attempted Burglary

An attempted burglary was reported on Ann Street on Aug. 2.
