Obituary - Bessie Rameas Favo

Bessie Rameas Favo, of Verona, passed away on Monday October 28, 2013, at the age of 91.

Bessie was preceded in death by husbands Charles Rameas and Ralph T. Favo.  She was the loving mother of Hope (William) Georgilas , Elaine (the late George) Spiridonakos, Joy (Mark) Lang and Father P. Rameas and survived by grandchildren Naki (Chris) Angelou, Barbra (Michael) Chilton, George (Susan) Spiridonakos, Christina (Chris) Gilcher, Mark (Jennifer) Lang, David (Jill) Lang and great-grandchildren Michael, Jack, Sophia, Avery, Sydney, Lina, Jacob, Delaney, Konstantine, Jenna and Bria.  Bessie was also survived by siblings Jim Koukos, Anna (Spiro) Rozos and sister-in-law Stella Tsangaris.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-9 pmWednesday, October 30, 2013 in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, INC., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139 where a Trisagion service will take place at 7:30 pm.  A funeral service will take place 11 am Thursday in the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, Oakmont.  The Makaria will immediately follow. I nterment will be private.
