Catherine A. Baratta, of Penn Hills, died in her residence June 5, 2014, at the age of 83.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert R. who died on February 24, 2014. She was the beloved mother of Deborah J. ( Andrew) Kost, Donna L. ( Chuck) Hostler, and Robert E. “Bobby” Baratta; grandmother of David Kost, Sarah(Tom) Everest, Katie and Kevin Hostler; great grandmother of Andrew and Gillian Everest.
Catherine was the last living member of the Weimerskirch family well known in the Verona area. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona, and a school bus driver for Penn Hills for over 20 yrs.

Friends and family will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, on Monday from 2-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona,
