Obituary - Cecelia J. Graham( Kalas)

Cecelia J., of Verona formerly of Point Breeze, died Monday June 2, 2014 at the age of 93.

Cecelia was the beloved wife of the late William L. Graham of 56 years; loving mother of William H Graham; grandmother of William, Robert(Kim) Richard( Barbara) Graham; great grandmother of Amber, Cassidi, Trista, and Haley; sister of Agatha(Tony) Brjavic.  Cecelia was one of eight children born and raised in Hazelwood.  She also is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Cecelia was a city of Pittsburgh school crossing guard for 38 yrs, retiring in 1988.  She had a love and passion for all the children she safely guided to school with a kind word, a piece of candy and many times a pair of gloves or a hat.  She was grateful for the many school pictures, Christmas cards, and gifts she received from the children.  After retiring she devoted her life to caring for her husband Bill, and family.  To have known her, is to have known a most generous and caring person.  Cecelia will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Friends and family will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION &ALTERNATIVE SERVICE INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday        in St. Joseph Catholic Church Verona.
