Obituary - Eleanor P. Marel (Peretic)

Eleanor, of Verona, died on Christmas morning, December 25, 2013, at the age of 90.

Eleanor was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Marel of 66 Years; devoted mother of Marilyn ( Robert) Dashner, Lara Marel, Kim (Francois) Ronin; sister of the late Mary Podgornik, Ann Marlowe, Joseph, Michael Peretic, Agatha Yugovich, and John Peretic; very special grandmother of Alex Ronin.

Eleanor was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona; proud owner of the Mighty Oak for over 30 years, and was very athletic, playing basketball for Westinghouse in the 1940s.

 Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Verona.
