Obituary - Hope V. Sacco

Hope V. Sacco, of Springdale Township, flew into the arms of Jesus, at the age of 23, on Friday, September 27, 2013, with her family by her side.

Hope was the beloved daughter of Susan (Alberts) Sacco and the late Patrick R. Sacco; dear sister of Vincent (Christina) Sacco, of Springdale, Daniel M. Sacco, at home, Amy S. Sacco, of New Kensington (and Amy’s former husband, David Fortuna, who remained fond of Hope) and the late Joshua S. Sacco; niece of Linda (Larry) Hackett, of Philadelphia; aunt of Patrick, Becca, Aleeya, Kramer, Casey and Emily; and dear friend of her nurses and caregivers from care ministries.

Hope had multiple disabilities during her lifetime and lived courageously through it all, with a zest and love of life.  She graduated from the Pittsburgh School for the Blind in 2011, and was crowned prom queen at the school.  Afterwards, she continued with the LAVI program of Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children.
