
Jack C. “Jookie” Abraham, of Oakmont, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the age of 73, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland. B
Jack was born in New Kensington on October 31, 1940, he was a son of the late Campbell and Elizabeth (Dawson) Abraham; beloved husband for 47 years of Florence “Honey” Abraham; loving father of Sean (Tina) Abraham of Oakmont, Erik Abraham of Oakmont, and Kelli (Jay) Argue of Springdale; proud Gidu of Sean T., Lola, and Owen; loving brother of Charles (Hazel) Reed of Carlyle, Illinois and the late Particia Abraham, Katherine Froud, and Evelyn Flowers. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
At the time of his death, “Jookie” worked for the American Beverage Corporation and was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church. He also worked for many years with his family’s bingo, The New Kensington/Arnold Lions Bingo, where he will be greatly missed.

Gidu greatly loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them, attending their soccer games, and going for ice cream.
Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church with Father Frank Kurimsky as celebrant.
