Joanne V. McDowell, of Cranberry Twp. (formerly of Penn Hills), passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013, in her residence, at the age of 72.
Joanne was the beloved wife for 53 years of Dale O. McDowell; loving mother of Dale P. (Sharon) McDowell, Michael J. (Laura) McDowell, Kathleen M. (Ronald) Seibert, and Pastor Shawn G. (Pastor Carrie) McDowell; Grandma of Jacy and Shane Campbell, Patrick (Carolyn) McDowell, Ashley Seibert, Rev. Bryan McDowell, Alexis McDowell, Jessica Seibert, Michael McDowell, Ron Seibert, Conner, Noah, Ryan, Grace, and Sarah McDowell; great-grandmother of Savannah Moltzen, Autumn and Scarlett McDowell; dear sister of Judy Evangelista and the late John and Greg Evangelista.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, November 1, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont (412) 828-3535. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 387 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, 15139.
