Obituary - Lindsley D. Van der Veer

Lindsley D. Van der Veer, of Longwood at Oakmont (formerly of Fox Chapel), passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the age of 93. 

Lindsley was the beloved husband for 59 years of the late Betty Mae Van der Veer; loving father of Dr. Lindsley D. and his wife Corinna Van der Veer of Bethlehem, PA and Hugh G. and his wife Lucie Van der Veer of Pittsburgh; devoted grandfather of Michael Van der Veer of Bel Air, MD, Abigail and her husband Dr. Ronnie Bossert of Victor, NY, Hugh and his wife Lindsey Van der Veer of Pittsburgh, and Barbara Van der Veer of Madrid, Spain; great-grandfather of Sophina Lin and Tyler Augustus Bossert. 

A private graveside service was held for the family at Richland Cemetery in Dravosburg.  A memorial service will be held in August, 2014 at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church.
