Obituary - Robert E. “Bobby” Baratta

Robert E. “Bobby” Baratta, of Penn Hills, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the age of 51.. 

Bobby is the son of the late Robert R. who passed on February 24, 2014 and his mother Catherine A. (Weimerskirch) Baratta who passed on June 5, 2014; brother of Deborah (Andrew) Kost and Donna L. (Chuck) Hostler; uncle of David Kost, Sarah (Tom) Everest, Katie and Kevin Hostler; great-uncle of Andrew and Gillian Everest. 

Bobby was a former employee of Denny’s in Harmarville where he worked for over 20 years.  He was recently employed at Achieva on Smallman Street.  He was a gentle soul who loved hunting, fishing, people, his family, and life in general. 

Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona.  Everyone is invited to lunch at the Oakmont Elks, 106 Washington Avenue, Oakmont, 15139 immediately following the Mass. 

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Achieva, 711 Bingham Street, Pittsburgh, 15203 or Independence Professionals, 322 Clark Avenue, Butler, 16002.
