Obituary - Ruth Irene Lewandowski, “Ruthie,”

Ruth Irene Lewandowski, “Ruthie,” of Etna, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 2, 2014, at the age of 60.

Ruth was the beloved daughter of Pauline Lewandowski and the late Edward Lewandowski; dear sister of Mary Lewandowski, Judy and her husband Tony Opipare, and brother, Edward Lewandowski.  She is also survived by her loving cat of 19 years, Pinkie.

Ruthie was a proud member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church where she was the President of the Ladies of Charity, and had received the Manifesting the Kingdom Award.  She worked for 44 years as a Veterinary Tech at North Hills Animal Hospital, and will be greatly missed by her clients, family, and church family.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 10, 2014, 9:30 a.m. in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Ladies of Charity, c/o St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 387 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, 15139.
