Obituary - Sharon L. Kent

Sharon L. Kent, of Oakmont, passed away at home on Saturday evening, September 28, 2013, at the age of 66.

Sharon was born in Pittsburgh on June 10, 1947 to the late Samuel and Helen (Zalar) Brocato.  

Sharon was the beloved wife of William L. Kent for 33 years; loving mother of Frank J. Teichman of Oakmont, Lori Teichman of Oakmont, Jack (Melissa) Thompson of Plum, Justin Kent of Oakmont, and Courtney Kent of New Kensington; Grammy of Nick (Alexa), Frankie, Dom, Ethan, Piper, and Derrick; sister of Fran (Frank) Brynner of New Kensington, Charles “Chuckie” (Rene) Brocato of Oakmont, Jackie (Brian) Charlton of New Kensington, Rodney Metzgar of Pittsburgh, Shelly Metzgar of Pittsburgh and the late Debbie Ciarelli.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Sharon was a member of Monroeville Assembly of God. 

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, on Friday, October 4, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home following the conclusion of the visitation, with Pastor Paul Kirschbaum officiating.
