Obituary - Veronica Davis

Veronica Davis, 90, formerly of Shady Side, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in her residence, at the age of 90.

Veronica was the beloved wife for 62 years of Charles J. Davis, Jr.; devoted mother of Helen (the late Steve) Fialkovich, Charles S. Davis, and Veronica (Bill) Franciscus; special grandmother of Megan Fialkovich, Erin and Matthew Franciscus; sister of the late Michael and John Galuska. 

Veronica was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shady Side, a member of Frick Lawn Bowling, the Women’s Guild of Sacred Heart, and volunteered at Children’s Hospital. 

Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10 a.m.in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 310 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, 15206.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. 

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Ave, Ste E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
