Daniel S. McGinnis, of Penn Hills, died accidentally on Sunday November 30, 2014, at the age of 44.
Dan was the beloved son of Dale H. and Maureen K. ( Truschel) McGinnis; devoted partner of Deb Russell; father of Jason (Nikki) Wright, and Thomas Caldwell; brother of Darlene(John) Woomer, Jeffrey(Nancy) McGinnis, Robin McCarthy, Colleen(Joe) Faddish; Pappy Dan to Jayden and Brody Wright. Dan is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins , nieces and nephews.
Dan was co-owner of McGinnis Automotive Oakmont. He graduated from Penn Hills Class of 1988. Dan was an avid outdoorsman, sportsman and athlete.
Friends and relatives will be received in BURKET TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION &ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont on Wednesday December 3, 2014 from 2-9. Celebration of his life will be held Thursday December 4, 2014 at 10:30 am in the funeral home.
