Earl L. Humphrey, of Penn Hills, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the age of 97.
Earl was the dear husband of the late Dorothy Humphrey; loving father of William (Virginia) Humphrey and Robert (Linda) Humphrey; grandfather of William (Dawn) Humphrey, Peter (Terri) Humphrey, Amanda and Brian Humphrey. Great-Grandfather of William Arthur, Rachel, Nathan, and Joshua Humphrey; brother of the late Charles and Glenn Humphrey and Joyce Bacon.
Earl was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Oakmont and spent his entire career working for Gulf Research as a chemical engineer.
Friends and relatives will be received on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 17, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in Redeemer Lutheran Church, EVERYONE PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.
