John Sekera, formerly of Penn Hills and Marienville, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the age of 51.
John was the dear son of John J. Sekera and the late Mildred (Radovich) Sekera; loving father of Jennifer and Jocelyn Sekera; beloved brother of Nancy Roth, Diana Stenberg, and Patricia Edmonds. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
John will be remembered for his free spirit and love of life.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont (412-828-3535), on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 7-9 pm, and on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 10:30 am in the funeral home.
