Marie had a strong will and drive, an interest to do the right things the right way. Her entire life was caring for others - whether it was the career of nursing within the community or immediate family. She had many talents, enjoyed movies, music, vacations, good times and laughing with family and friends, but what she enjoyed most in life was being a mother. She will be greatly missed.

Friends and relatives will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.
