Mary Ann “Mary” (Provenza) Gorshin of Plum Boro passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, December 1, 2014 after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Mary was born in Oakmont, August 17,1932 to the late Vincent & Lucy (Liberto) Provenza. Mary is survived by her husband Edward of 62 years; sons Edward, Gary (Debra) Gorshin, daughter Sheila (Charles) Bertram; two adoring grandchildren Amanda & Stephen Bertram all of Plum Boro. She also is survived by brothers Charles (Diamanda) of Florida, Vincent (Dolly) Provenza of Oakmont, sisters Lucy (Dudley) Herrington of Oakmont, Sally (Russell) Stark of California and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph. Mary will be truly missed by family and friends.
Family & friends will be receive Wednesday, December 3 from 2-4 pm and 6-9pm in Soxman Funeral Home, Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Road, Penn Hills

Service Information: Thursday, December 4th, 2014 10:00 am officiating Fr. Tom Galvin, St. John the Baptist Church 444 St. John Street Pittsburgh, PA. Interment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery.
