Mary Vano, of the Willows at Presbyterian Senior Care (formerly of Outlook Drive), died comfortably, Monday October 1, 2012 at the age of 91.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Vano; dear mother of Janice (Melvin) McAndrew, Carol (Paul) Saxon and the late Thomas (Bic) Vano; sister of Inez Uhler and preceded in death by: Anthony Chiccino, Edith Solazzo and Josephine Chuchran; grandmother of Janet (Ron) Schwoegl, Jeff (Colleen) McAndrew, Jim (Tina) McAndrew, Jonathan McAndrew, Chris (Evelyna) Saxon, Mike (Deborah) Saxon, Mary Beth (Brian) Parr and Wantieng (Dan) Stehle. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to being a beloved family matriarch, Mary was a successful business owner and proud member of St. Joseph’s parish. Her family thanks the 4th floor nursing care and hospice staff for their love and care of Mary in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 9:30 am St. Joseph Church, Verona.
