Michael A. Basel, of Verona, died Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the age of 63.
Michael was the beloved husband of Karen (Tate) Basel of 41 years; father of Michael (Leigh) Basel, Kathy Taylor, and Tammy Boncella; brother of Stephen (Mary) Basel, Richard, John Basel, Mary Ann (Jim) Tate, Ginny (Jeff) Israel, Dorothy “Dottie” Basel, and the late James Basel; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, on Sunday, October 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held Monday at 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home.
