Patricia A. “Pat” Covert, of Penn Hills, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh, at the age of 78.
Pat was born on April 28, 1936 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Frances (Kelm) Marcin; beloved wife for 56 years of Wallace E. “Wally” Covert; sister-in-law of John and Sandy Steele of Ormond Beach, Florida; aunt of Shannon (Brett) Cherpak, Shawn (Kelly) Trzeciak, and their children.
Throughout her career, she treated everyone equally with dignity and respect, having worked in several medical and dental offices.
Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 11, 2014, 10 a.m. in St. Pio of Pietrelcina (former St. Francis of Assisi), 2599 Freeport Rd. Pittsburgh, PA, 15238, with Father Joseph Keenan officiating. Lunch immediately following Mass at Chelsea Grille, Oakmont in her Memory.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Family Hospice and Pallative Care, 310 Fisk Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15201.
