Paul R. Owens, Jr., of Indiana Twp, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014, at the age of 56, in Forbes Hospice, Pittsburgh.
Paul was born in Pittsburgh on October 30, 1957, he is the son of Paul R. and Joan Owens, Sr. of Finleyville; beloved husband for 21 years of Carolyn (Nypaver) Owens; loving father of Emily and Abigail Owens, both of Indiana Twp.; brother of Joan (Rocky) Waxman of South Park, Donald (Mary Beth) Owens of Columbus, OH, David (Debbie) Owens of South Park, Diane Owens Lucci of Finleyville, Thomas (Lisa) Owens of Finleyville, and the late Kathleen Levinsky and Karen Henze; brother in-law of Nick Levinsky of Finleyville, Donald Henze of Finleyville, Joseph (Cindy) Nypaver of Cincinnati, OH, Katherine (John) Borza of Gibsonia, and Timothy (Lori) Nypaver of Fox Chapel; son in-law of Ralph and Dorothy Nypaver of Indiana Twp. Paul is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 1-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue; Oakmont. (412) 828-3535. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, 2510 Middle Rd. Glenshaw, PA, 15116.
