Samuel J. Alcorn, of Penn Hills, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012,
Samuel J. Alcorn, of Penn Hills, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at the age of 88.
Sam was the beloved husband of 69 years of Ruth Alcorn; loving brother of Lloyd Alcorn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sam is preceded in death by siblings James Andrew Alcorn, Ruth Alcorn Whiteford and John Robert Alcorn.
Mr. Alcorn was a WWII Veteran and a member of the Rosedale United Methodist Church and Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #12.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am in the Rosedale United Methodist Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
