Sandra Guthrie, of Verona (formerly of Kittanning), passed away Monday, May 28, 2012, at her residence.
Sandra was born in Kittanning on April 25, 1944, the daughter of the late James E. and Geraldine (McElravy) Cravenor of Kittanning. Sandra is survived by her sons James and Richard of Natrona Heights, Robert (Suzanna) of Omaha, NE and Charles of Arnold; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Sara, Chelsie, Amber, Sandy, Jessica, Jillian, Kristen and Danielle ; seven brothers, Stephen, Louis, James, David, Dennis, Timothy and Matthew; five sisters, Laura, Gloria, Debra, Sharon and Rachelle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Hugh and son Hugh Jr.; three brothers, Edward, Norman and Gary “Buck”; and six sisters, Garnet, Cindy Patty, Carolyn, Louise and Evelyn.
Sandra enjoyed a very close and loving relationship with her family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Friends and family will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont on Wednesday, May 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, May 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 1 in the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph E. Prinkey officiating. Internment is private.
