Obituary - Sara Mae Dougherty

Sara Mae Dougherty, of Penn Hills, passed away on Tuesday, December 02, 2014.

Sara was the beloved wife of Joseph J. Dougherty. She is survived by her three sons John Dougherty of Marco Island, FL,. Michael (Lisa) Dougherty of North Huntington, PA, and Patrick Dougherty of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her siblings John (Janet) Waldron of Ocala, FL, Jane Waldron of Philadelphia, PA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings Rev. Edward Waldron and Mary Carpenter.

Sara was a Registered Nurse with the St. Margaret Hospital in Aspinwall, PA for more than 30 years.

A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am, Friday, December 5, 2014 in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Oakmont. The family request that all memorial contributions be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 378 Delaware Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139.
