Obituary - Thomas G. Hill
Thomas G. Hill, of Oakmont, formerly of Fawn Township, went home with the Lord on Monday, May 14, 2012.

Thomas G. Hill, of Oakmont, formerly of Fawn Township, went home with the Lord on Monday, May 14, 2012, at the Willows Presbyterian Senior Care, Oakmont, at the age of 84.
Tom was born in Beaver Falls, Jan. 24, 1928, he was a son of the late Grant and Anna (Nolf) Hill. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Arlene (Earney) Hill; dear father of Rhonda (Lawrence) Schaecter, of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Kevin (Patricia) Hill, of New Kensington; grandfather of Grant Walker, Margeaux Walker, Wesley (Jane) Bruggink and Adline (Sam) Adams; great-grandfather of Madison and Morgan Bruggink; brother of Charles Hill, of New Kensington, and Donna Holley, of Arnold; and uncle of Kim Gourney. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Tom was a graduate of Ken High and Allegheny Technical Institute. Mr. Hill worked as a photographer and photo engraver for the Daily Dispatch for three years, worked as a welder at Alcoa and Blawnox Steel, followed by a field engineer at NMR Specialties, formerly of New Kensington. He finished his working career as vice-president of Seinco. Tom enjoyed photography, woodworking, gardening and hunting.

A memorial service was held for the family only with the Rev. David Longstreth officiating. Private burial took place at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
