Obituary -Yvonne B. Bottomlee

Yvonne B. Bottomlee, of Plum Borough, formerly of Shadyside, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at the age of 66.

Yvonne was the daughter of the late Alice Pearl (Frick) Bottomlee and James Moses Bottomlee; niece of the late Thomas Evan Frick, M. Edward Frick; and Godmother of Michael Gasior and Ryan Johnston.  She was preceded in death by her cousins Edward Frick and Richard A. Frick; and is survived by living cousins Scott Frick, John Frick, Richard E. Frick and Lisa Frick Sinka.  Yvonne is survived by her half siblings, Barbara Ellen Sions, Annette Lorene McHenry, Ramona Lynn Smerk and Dallas Roy Bottomlee.  She is survived by several young cousins, her Golden Girl friends, Kathie Gasior and Betti King.  

Yvonne was a retired registered nurse and unit director at Shadyside Hospital for many years.

Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 9 pm Tuesday in BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday in the funeral home.
