Planting Trees in Verona

Since Spring has finally arrived and the ground has defrosted, the trees from Tree Vitalize can finally be planted.  

Bridget Seery and the Tree Commission plus many volunteers have planned the planting of 17 more trees around Verona's Business District for Saturday, May 3 from 9 am to 12 noon. If you would like to help, you are more than welcome to join the crew. 

Be sure to bring your garden boots, gloves, a warm coat, and your favorite shovel and/or rake.  Meet in front of the Borough building.
