Plum Airman Found Dead at Arizona Base
Senior Airman David J. Randolph, 22, was found dead in a dorm last week.

A Plum Airman was found dead at the Airmen dormitories on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ, last week.
According to a statement released by the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Senior Airman David J. Randolph, 22, was found at 8:30 a.m. July 5. Randolph had been stationed at Davis-Monthan since February 2010 and was assigned to the 355th Security Forces Squadron as a Response Force Leader. He was deployed to Joint-Base Balad, Iraq in 2011 and received the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal in recognition of his deployed service.
According to the Valley News Dispatch, Randolph is a Plum native and a 2008 graduate.

"The Desert Lightning Team mourns the loss of SrA Randolph," said Col. James Meger, the 355th Fighter Wing commander, in a release. "We have lost a member of our Air Force family, and as we all grieve, the base will continue to offer our support and condolence to those mourning the loss of David."
The cause of death is under investigation.
