Plum Police Investigate Burglaries

Here are the Plum police reports for July 9 to 16.

Plum police officers are investigating several burglaries in the area.

On July 11, a Ross Hollow Road resident reported a total of $4,000 missing from two locations within the house.

Police also are looking into incidents that occurred in June. A Gun Club Road resident reported several pieces of jewelry stolen from the residence on June 17. The burglar gained access through a front door window.

A resident reported on June 3 that $2,000 worth of copper piping had been stolen from a Havana Drive home that was vacant for six months—it is now being renovated. The thief gained access through a basement window.

Driving with Suspended License

Robert Andrew Schreckengost, 32, of Plum was charged with illegally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock and driving with a suspended license after a July 12 incident on Universal Road/Deborah Jane Drive.
