Plum Woman Hit By A Car in Oakmont

Here are the Oakmont police reports for May 29 to June 10.

Oakmont police are investigating a vehicle-pedestrian accident that occurred on Allegheny River Boulevard earlier this week.

On Monday morning, police were called to the 500 block of the road near the Oakmont Post Office. According to police, a motorist was backing into a parking spot and hit the 69-year-old Plum woman. She was taken to UPMC St. Margaret Hospital for treatment. 

Criminal charges have not been filed.

The following incidents also were reported to Oakmont police:

Rescue

On June 1, police were called to the Walgreens at the intersection of Hulton Road and Allegheny Avenue after reports that baby ducks had fallen into the sewer grates. The ducks were rescued.

Theft

A Mississippi resident reported a missing or stolen cellphone on June 10.

A woman reported her wallet was stolen at Presbyterian SeniorCare on June 9.

A phone was stolen from a vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue and Fourth Street on May 30.

Vandalism

Graffiti was reported at Automated Entrance Systems Co. on Archie Street on June 3.

Threat

A woman claimed a man threatened to kill her at the UniMart on Allegheny River Boulevard on June 7.
