Police Report: March 1 to 10

A round up of police charges and crimes in Plum and Oakmont.

Jolene Matassa, 28, of 1010 Mallisee Road in Plum, was charged with endangering the welfare of children and driving under the influence.

David Babyak, 24, of 10 Carlsbad Drive in Plum, was charged with theft and harassment.

Riverview High School officials said a netbook was stolen from the school on March 4.

A Beech Road resident in Plum reported the theft of a towing trailer on March 7.

An Oakmont resident on Maryland Avenue reported the theft of an antique metal symbol from the house's exterior on March 3.

A Plum resident on Fawn Court in Plum reported a case of identity theft to Plum police on March 7.

 

Criminal Mischief

A Coxcomb Hill resident in Plum reported a deep scratch in his car's drivers' side door on March 5. The incident likely occured overnight between March 4 and 5, the owner said.

A Pennsylvania Avenue resident in Oakmont reported receiving a threatening letter on March 4.

Information was obtained from Plum and Oakmont police reports and call logs. Charges listed are only accusations, and the accused have not been tried in court.
