Regency Park Elementary students interested in science, technology, engineering, art and math are in for a treat next school year.
The Allegheny Intermediate Unit’s Center for Creativity has awarded a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) grant to the school. The grant will support Regency Park's “STEAM Lab.”
The school was selected from over 80 grant applications to be funded in the amount of $20,000. The grants are funded by the Benedum and Grable Foundations and available to schools in in Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, Beaver and Westmoreland counties.
