Sandusky Out on Bond

The $250,000 bond was posted Thursday.

Former Penn State University coach and Washington County native Gerald Sandusky was released from jail on Thursday after posting $250,000 bond.

Online court documents show that Sandusky's wife, Dorothy, posted $50,000 toward the bond. The other $200,000 was posted using real estate.

Agents from the state Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Pennsylvania State Police on Wednesday filed new criminal charges against Sandusky as part of an ongoing grand jury investigation into alleged sexual assaults of children.

Kelly said these latest criminal charges come following grand jury testimony from two additional young men, identified as Victim 9 and Victim 10, who were allegedly targeted by Sandusky, 67, when they were children.
