Verona Clean-up Chairman Luke Mattocks has designated Saturday, October 26 from 10 to 12 as Fall Clean-up Day. This is the second consecutive year that Pitt students have volunteered their time and effort to come to Verona and help with the clean-up. There is a need for escorts and directors to help the Pitt students find their way around Verona and to their clean-up spots. So the regular clean-up folks and more are needed on Saturday.
Please bring old work gloves and several garbage bags, if you have them. Â If you don't they can be supplied. Reflective safety vests will be available. Â "Extended reach grabbers" (not supplied) also make pickup a lot easier.
Following the clean-up free refreshments and pizza will be served.
