According to the Colonial Board of School Directors June agenda, 12 teachers retired from the Colonial School District following the 2011-12 school year.
The longest tenured employee was Janet Canterbury, formerly an art teacher at Whitemarsh Elementary, who started working in the district on September 1, 1975.
