$1M Infrastructure Project To Begin In Plymouth, Closures Expected
Aqua Pennsylvania officials hope the consturction will reduce discolored water and improve firefighting capablities.

EAST NORRITON, PA – A $1 million infrastructure improvement project in Plymouth and East Norriton townships will begin the week of March 14, Aqua Pennsylvania has announced.
This project, which will increase service reliability, reduce the potential for discolored water and improve firefighting capabilities, is expected to be complete in the summer.
Crews will break ground to replace the existing 6-inch cast iron main with 4,634 feet of new 8-inch ductile iron main. Work will take place on the following roads:

- Arch Road between Germantown Pike and Township Line Road
- Township Line Road between Arch Road and Azalea Terrace
- Azalea Terrace between Township Line Road and a point 303 feet west of Township Line Road
- Knoll Road between Arch Road and a point 263 feet south of Arch Road
Construction will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Work and detour hours on Township Line Road will take place weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Work on Arch Road will take place weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
