23-Year-Old Whitemarsh Man, Missing For Weeks, Found Safe

The man had last been seen July 19 near the Wissahickon Creek.

WHITEMARSH TOWNSHIP, PA — A Whitemarsh Township man who had been missing for weeks has been found safe, police announced on Tuesday.

"23 year-old Paul Asman has been located and reunited with his family," Whitemarsh police said in a notice. "Thank you to everyone that spread the word and attempted to assist with locating this young man."

There is no indication of foul play.

Asman had last been seen on Friday, July 19 in the Fort Washington section of Whitemarsh Township near 321 Morris Road.

Paul was entering the woods near Wissahickon Creek when he was last seen.

Local residents and law enforcement had helped search the area in the wake of his disappearance, including marshaling volunteers in the park.
