476 Shut Down In Conshohocken Amid Vehicle Fire

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — A vehicle fire shut down I-476 in Conshohocken near the ramp to I-76 on Tuesday afternoon, strangling traffic in the area approaching rush hour.

The incident occurred at 4:24 p.m.

The road is shut down in the southbound direction between exit 18 for Norristown and exit 16B to I-76 west.

The restoration time is estimated at 5:10 p.m., according to PA 511.

There is no word yet on any injuries.
