$4M Grant For New Conshy Hotel, Plymouth Mtg. Mall Expansion
The money will help fund a new office building and hotel in Conshohocken, as well as new retail space in Plymouth Meeting.
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Several local development projects have received a total in $4 million in grants from the state, officials announced this week.
The funding comes through the Multimodal Transportation Fund and will help create a new hotel and office space in Conshohocken as well as an expansion of the Plymouth Meeting Mall.
"We very much appreciate the investment in our district," State Rep. Mary Jo Daley (D-Montgomery) said in a statement. "These projects, with the help of the grant funding, will improve our community and create jobs for those who live here. I'm grateful to all who helped make this happen."

The funds will be used for several projects, including:
- A SORA West Gateway office building and parking garage in downtown Conshohocken
- SORA West Gateway hotel nearby
- Intersection improvements and pedestrian accessibility near those two developments
- A new retail space in the Plymouth Meeting Mall marketed to a craft brewery, arts and crafts store, and restaurants
