5K RUN/WALK for S.A.A.M.

Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. (VSC) is a non-profit organization serving victims of crime in Montgomery County. We offer comprehensive services, including counseling, legal advocacy, community education and two 24-hour crisis hotlines. All of our services are free and confidential to the community. All proceeds from this event will benefit victims of sexual violence and child sexual abuse.

April is national Sexual Assault Awareness Month (S.A.A.M.) and Victim Services Center of Montgomery County, Inc. recognizes S.A.A.M. with a community event dedicated to increasing awareness of sexual violence. Come join us and show your support of the community and victims of sexual violence and child sexual abuse! “Run for S.A.A.M.” will take place on Sunday, April 24, 2015 from 9:30am-12:30pm at Norristown Farm Park in Norristown, Pennsylvania. “Run for S.A.A.M.” will be a fun event for the whole family, and pets, to enjoy! This race will be have professional timing done by Bryn Mawr Racing Company.

Your contribution to our Run for S.A.A.M. will help us to continue to fund free and confidential counseling and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault, child abuse, homicide and other violent crimes, as well as safety and risk reduction programs in schools, colleges, and institutions throughout the county.
