Plymouth Whitemarsh carries an 8-1 record into this postseason, its lone setback coming against No. 2-ranked Abington. Colonials’ coach Dan Chang said a primary concern is keeping South quarterback Matt Johns and running back Dan Brown in check.

“Offensively, we know they put up points like no one else,” Chang said. “They’re a running team, but they’ll hit up their quarterback on a big play. First, I think, we have to shut down their running game, then maybe capitalize on some turnovers. I think we’re playing well right now. We’ve had a great run, but it will important for us to know the game will be played at a different speed Friday night.”
