SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Sandy Run Quarry in Springfield Township will shut down to the public for one day this weekend for an emergency training exercise.
The closure will be in place on Saturday, May 30 from noon to 5 p.m.
The Montgomery County Urban Search and Rescue program will be conducting various trainings during that time.
Their program includes a search for underwater devices.
The quarry will reopen at dusk.
