CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — The Pennsylvania National Guard will conduct training exercises involving a military helicopter along the banks of the Schuylkill River in Conshohocken on Tuesday, authorities said.
The National Guard will be working with the Pennsylvania Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team and the Conshohocken Fire Department.
Officials reminded residents not to be alarmed, and that there is no actual emergency.
"Drills like this help our local responders prepare and respond to water emergencies in and around our region and work seamlessly with state resources," Conshohocken Borough shared in an announcement.
The chopper may be flying very low during activities.
The Schuylkill River Trail may be briefly impacted during the exercises.
