CMS Girls’ Robotics Team Takes Silver at Penn 'LEGO' Games
The girls won the medal in the Inspiration category.
The Colonial Middle School (CMS) Girls’ Robotics Team placed second in the Inspiration Award category at the University of Pennsylvania’s FIRST Lego Championships on January 28.
For the Inspiration Award, the 53 teams were judged on how they performed in all areas and by other competitors on their desirability as an alliance partner. The team’s sponsor, teacher Chris Brunner, received the event’s Coach/mentor Award.
Both the CMS Robotics Team and the CMS Girls’ Robotics team were invited to the inaugural event through their performance at one of five regional qualifying competitions in December.
