Cold Point Pub Debuts New Fall Menu

The brewpub operates inside of the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods.

The Cold Point pub, a brewpub that operates inside of the Plymouth Meeting Whole Foods, debuted its new fall menu with a closed tasting on Wednesday.

Chris Rollo, a team leader at Whole Foods, said that the new menu will be open to the public on September 1 and will run for the rest of the fall season.

He said the new menu comes in response to a survey of what kind of food shoppers were looking for.

“The word was that people wanted a traditional pub style for our food, so we tried to come up with a menu that was simple and familiar with our own spin on it,” he said. “We’ve got the best ingredients here, so we were able to make food that was full of flavor without doing much to it. It’s a pub menu and it’s all great but it isn’t too ‘Whole Foods-y.’”

The menu will feature one or two specials a week in addition to a constant 24-item menu that includes appetizer, entrée and desert options. Some items, including the Vegan BBQ pulled pork sandwich and the $10 burger, stand out to Rollo.

“We tried to make the menu as familiar as possible while keeping it fun and natural. Our vegan pulled pork is a great and our $10 burger is a three-meat meal that will appeal to any burger-eater.”

Rollo says the new menu adds to an experience that shoppers and food-fans alike “wouldn’t find in other stores.”

“We’ve been open for a year and we think we offer something you won’t find in another retail store.”

The new menu is available now, with its official start date set for September 1.
