Colonial School Board Election Results: Democrats and Republicans Split the Ticket

See who won seats on the Colonial board of school directors.

While the results are not yet certified by the county’s Board of Elections, unofficial number show a split ticket between Democrats and Republicans in the Colonial School District board of directors race.

Republicans Susan Moore, Christina Frangiosa and Mel Brodsky finished in the top five of the 10 candidates on the ballot, with Democrats Leslie Finegold and Julie Fink Knudsen rounding out the two remaining spots.

All five candidates finished with over 10 percent of the vote. Frangiosa finished with 4,934 votes, only 10 more than Republican candidate Kelly Jowett.

Results for the Colonial School District's board of directors election are listed below. Unofficial winners, in races where all precincts have reported, are shown in bold type. Incumbents are designated with asterisks.

All results are unofficial until certified by the county's Board of Elections.
